Pre-Semester Housing 2018
Pre-Semester Housing is available for students participating in a Special Program or attending International Students Orientation beginning Wednesday, August 1. Approval from a sponsoring department is required to live on campus in Pre-Semester Housing. The University is not able to accommodate off-campus students who need housing between summer and fall semesters.
Arrival date: Wednesday, August 1 - Sunday, August 12
Cost: $25 per night
Charge is for room only, does not include the Campus Meal Plan.
You will be charged a nightly rate based on the number of nights you register for during pre-semester housing (August 1 - 12) and early-arrival housing (August 13 - 15), if applicable. There is no fee for Thursday, August 16. Calculate your total costs using this Rate Chart.
Register Online: You will need to create an Iris account. Registration will close Friday 8/10 at noon.
If you receive a promo code from a sponsoring department you will use that to finalize your registration in the Iris system. It will adjust the amount you owe.
Location: East Housing Area
Accommodation: double room, traditional residence hall; linens/blankets/pillow/towels are not provided
Check-in: Findlay Commons Desk, located in East Housing Area; open 24hrs/day
Food Services: Pollock Dining Commons is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday - Friday; brunch and dinner Saturday -Sunday. Students will be able to use the fall Campus Meal Plan account beginning Saturday August 11.
Check-out: Monday, August 13.
You will need to check-out of pre-semester housing as early as possible by removing all personal items from the room and returning the room key to the Findlay Commons Desk. You will receive your room key for your fall residence before leaving East Housing Area. Move items to your fall room assignment. Global Programs will provide assistant with shuttles, which will be located at the Curtin Road bus stop.
