New Student Orientation - Fall Semester Arrival

New Student Orientation (NSO) has two sessions during fall arrival: Tuesday, Aug. 20 - Wednesday, Aug. 21; and Thursday, Aug. 21 - Friday, Aug. 22.

Students attending one of these NSO sessions can move directly into their fall room assignment on the day that their NSO session begins. Students can arrive in the morning or early afternoon on their NSO program start date, and then attend the NSO session in the evening.

There is an additional fee that will be charged to the student's LionPATH account, based on the day that the student checks in (Monday $120; Tuesday $80; Wednesday $40. Starting on Thursday, there is no arrival fee).

Students can Schedule Move-In in eLiving after room assignments are posted noon Tuesday, July 15. It is recommended that you and your roommate do not move in at the same time, to allow for space to unpack.

NSO Program August 19-20

Housing Arrival Day: Tuesday, Aug. 19

Schedule Move-In:

  • Login to eLiving > My Info > Schedule Move-In
  • Select "Tuesday, Aug. 19" and a time between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • NSO program begins with a program check-in between 5 - 7 p.m.

Based on the date the student checks in, the early arrival fee will be charged to the student's LionPATH account.

NSO Program August 21-22

Housing Arrival Day: Thursday, Aug. 21

Schedule Move-In:

  • Select "Thursday, Aug. 21" and a time between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • NSO program begins with a program check-in between 5 - 7 p.m.

Based on the date the student checks in, the early arrival fee will be charged to the student's LionPATH account.

Early Arrival Fee

Students who select a NSO session that is scheduled during Arrival Week and they check in on an identified "Housing Early Arrival" day will incur an additional fee. The charge is based on the day that the student checks in to University Housing:

  • Monday $120
  • Tuesday $80
  • Wednesday $40
  • Thursday, no arrival fee

The Campus Meal Plan will be activated upon check-in.
